Christ House began in August of 1981, not as a response to social needs, but as a probing of the gospel challenge: have no care for tomorrow, for I shall provide for you and Love your neighbor. We have not been concerned about growing larger; we try simply to meet the needs of the young men who come our way and to rely on God to provide the means, we have no long-range plans and no apparatus for securing funds other than just asking of friends for specific needs.
